About the Artist

Abraham Mojica was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, in 1977. As a young man he traveled with a circus through Central America and Mexico, an experience that would profoundly shape his artistic sensibility. He later trained for the priesthood as a teenager before discovering painting as a transformative creative outlet.

Now based in San Antonio, Texas, Mojica works across acrylic, oil, sculpture, and mixed media. He is known for painting with both hands simultaneously — a distinctive technique that gives his work its signature energy and spontaneity. His art has been featured in Forbes and USA Today.
